Located in one of a row of imposing 19th century beach front villas, the Dalriada is sited so close to the Portobello/Joppa promenade that seals and even dolphins have been spotted from the bar. The imposing entrance has an original tiled floor and fireplace and leads to several bar areas containing an eclectic mix of furniture which gives each room its own character. Note the fine polished granite top on the counter of the main bar.
Live music is important at the Dalriada with sessions each evening from Wednesday to Saturday and on weekend afternoons. Music festivals are held in summer. Check website for details of these and current opening times.
Although there are no full meals, extensive bar snacks served 12-3 on Saturday and Sunday.
