The view from this classic pub is across the village green and two tree-fringed ponds. Inside there are cosy fireplaces, stone floors and flint walls. Known locally as the Mucky Duck, the pub has developed a reputation for its excellent food ranging from classic pub meals to seasonal dishes. There is accommodation in eight rooms plus an adjacent cottage.Included in the Sunday Times list of the best 80 places to stay in Britain in 2020.
