The Crown & Sceptre is a traditional, welcoming pub, with a single bar which has been extended to the rear. The walls carry pictures of local scenes as well as those with a royal theme, and there is also a large brewery mirror. Children are welcome in the extension until 8pm. The food served is mainly pizzas, although other dishes are available including in the tapas style. Tuesday is quiz night.

Historic Interest

A picture shows the pub as selling 'Crowley's Croydon Ales'. The brewery was acquired by Hoare & Co, which was the bought by Charrington's. The pub became a Fuller's house in 1980's pub swap.
