A warm welcome awaits visitors to this attractive thatched pub which really is at the heart of this village [pronounced “Punnel”]. A popular pub with locals and visitors; there are two main bars, with log fires in winter, and a further dining room off the main drinking area; wheelchair access is via the back door from the car park and into the main bar. Well kept Palmers ales are served, occasionally Tally Ho! and food is traditional pub food with a specials menu. Walk out the back door and there is an open sided marquee offering covered outside seating and a large garden with extensive views across the beautiful Bride Valley.
