Historic Interest
In May 1981 it was not considered to be a Pub but a nightclub. By September 1988 it was selling Chesters Bitter and was going to join the guest beer scheme. It was listed in the 1989 Beer in Bolton Guide as selling Chesters Bitter, but by March 1989 Marstons Pedigree was on the bar. It was reported in the summer of 1989 that their Late night licence had been renewed. By November 1990 the pub was now all keg again. In the first half of 1994 Boddintons Bitter and Old Speckled Hen were on the bar.
