Tucked away down a narrow lane from the meeting of Liphook Road with Bowcott Hill this popular local country pub restaurant reopened on 19 July after a couple of weeks between licensees. From 1 March 2025 full food service is available Friday to Saturday lunchtime and evenings and Sunday lunchtime with bar snacks available at all times. A once monthly food truck visit adds to the fare. See Website for details of what is currently on offer.

Historic Friary Meux brewery sign by the door. The terraced verdant little garden with a brook running along the bottom is down some steps behind the car park on the opposite side of the lane.
