Refurbished in 2014 the pub has been put back to its former layout of three distinctive drinking areas at the front plus a large rear restaurant area. Popular for food and offering an impressive range of cask ales - the four handpumps normally offer beers from True North, Bradfield and Abbeydale. A 'glow up' in September 2025 has left the interior looking very smart and sparkling.
