Pub closed. Large well-appointed pub converted from a guest house, itself converted from two cottages by a pools winner. An open plan pub, it has 3 distinct drinking areas and supports various games such as darts, pool and euchre, and also runs quiz nights. On the outskirts of town, it serves the Penbeagle Estate. The guest beer is a summer feature.
