This is a club, which means that the bar may be only open to members.
May 2025: 'Contingency plans have been put forward for an angling club in Crewe to be converted back into four townhouses if it were to close. Crewe Amalgamated Anglers Club was previously four houses, numbered three to nine, on Beech Street. The club is planning to remain open for the foreseeable future, with the proposed residential development a backup plan if it were to close, leaving the building empty.
A design and access statement submitted by Ian Boone, on behalf of applicant, Mr N Singh, says: "This action has been brought about [by] diminishing numbers of members, mainly through natural reasons, making the club unviable for modern trading" '.
