No Cask Beer available in this archetypal estate-style pub on the edge of town. The atmosphere is friendly and lively. At weekends there is usually entertainment in the comfortable lounge area. At the rear is a large function room.

Historic Interest

Pub delicensed 23/06/14, Sold prior to Auction and relicensed again on 02/07/14 by Creative Pubs and Bars Ltd of Birchwood, Warrington. This company was dissolved in 2019. In 1982 this was a Greenall Whitley keg pub. Planning application 18150/24 to convert into a nursery is approved 06/09/24
