This Pub is Permanently Closed

Now demolished this pub was part of a 3 venue complex, the Corner Flag/ Indigo rooms/ Baby Indi are located in a redevelopment part of Sunderland. The pub was full of sports memorabilia and featuresd three handpulls, usually with local beers, a real cider and perry.

THE PUB CLOSED IN MARCH 2016 AND WAS DEMOLISHED IN OCTOBER 2022. DETAILS :-

Demolition was part of large city centre regeneration schemes driven by the council

On the Corner Flag site a new Hotel due to open across Keel Square from this site with upmarket bars & restaurants is seen by the council as the replacement community facility.
