Close to the northern reaches of Portsmouth Harbour, the Cormorant is a traditional style pub situated in the quaint village of Portchester. Adjacent to the car park is an "Inside Outside" gazebo which can be warm in winter and cool in summer.
Historic Interest
A short walk down Castle Street lies Portchester Castle, reputed to be the best preserved roman fortress in Europe. The castle grounds and St Mary's a twelfth century church are open to the public, but there is a charge to enter the keep.
