Opened in 2018 by two beer enthusiasts who wanted to create "the type of pub that we would like to drink in". There is one main room, but a semi dividing wall effectively produces two separate drinking areas with tables, chairs and stools which enhance a friendly intimate drinking atmosphere.

It offers four cask ales from independent breweries plus a real cider, and an additional ten beers and a cider on tap. See Facebook for the latest offerings.

A well-stocked fridge contains around 60 bottled and canned beers from far and wide.

As with many micro-pubs, bar snacks, pies and scratchings are available, and you are welcome to bring your own food.

The small chimney breast at the rear of the pub holds a selection of board games and books to help while away the time if desired. It's a quiet pub where good conversation is enjoyed between locals and visitors alike.

Historic Interest

Formerly a printers, jewellers and a butchers premises, clues to the reason for the name of the pub are to be found with photographs on the walls of coracle makers and operators from bygone years on the adjacent River Severn.
