Micropub.
Thanet’s first micropub (2010) now in its third incarnation but still using its original name. Inside it is almost suggestive of perhaps a pub on a yacht, with nautical items and restricted space. Indeed the pub was originally named after paddle steamer Conqueror but bears signage referencing William the Conqueror – no longer related to its initial theme. Banquette seating and a sofa face inwards to facilitate chat, with pride of place being the chilled space for its ales on stillage
