Just a short walk from the station, the bar offers scenic views of the Firth of Clyde and the Gareloch. In addition to the quality real ales there is a wide selection of food in the informal restaurant. In good weather you can enjoy sitting in the popular garden to the front where you might spot sea birds, ships, the wrecked sugar boat, and the occasional submarine. The building was once an inn offering accommodation but the hotel upstairs is now a separate business.
