A warm welcome awaits at this genuine local where the bar has been tastefully modernised and decorated with a nautical theme while retaining its original charm. During the work a set of tiles depicting scenes from the Waverley novels was revealed. There is a snug up a few steps to the left opposite the bar and a small room for playing darts. Food can be ordered from local take-aways to eat in. There is a Tuesday quiz and live music is a regular Saturday night feature.
