Grade II listed pub dating from 1520 which faces a large green on the outskirts of this market town. The bar serves four distinct drinking areas furnished with a range of sofas and wooden tables and chairs. On cold nights a large log fire welcomes customers. Normally serves three ales all direct from barrels stored in the air-conditioned cask room behind the bar.
