This Pub is Closed Long Term
Pleasant two-roomed valleys local with one room given over to dining in the evenings and Sunday lunchtime. It emerged from the conversion from farm buildings during the 19th century. The pub takes its name from the former mine shaft (now safely capped) in the car park. Excellent views may be had of impressive Hengoed Viaduct spanning the Rhymney Valley.
