Pub Closed Feb 2012. On the main Callington-Kelly Bray road, this traditional 300-year old coaching inn offers a warm and cosy atmosphere, and attracts both local and passing trade. The popular small bar is low ceilinged with wooden beams, furnished with settles and decorated with local bric-a-brac of all sorts - bank notes, clocks, rifles and horse brasses. Flags of various nations adorn the ceiling, including that of the former East Germany. Note also the beautiful and unusual Wedgewood handpumps. There are always two real ales available; the third (which might be Draught Bass) appears seasonally. Meals 1130-1400 & 1900-2130; there is a separate dining area.
