This Pub is Permanently Closed

Large suburban pub just north of Evington Road shopping centre. Built in 1929 (dated on a rainwater head), possibly by James Eadie of Burton-on-Trent; it was later long owned by Bass. In 2017, it was converted to a 'community centre' without planning permission.
