The Cnoc Hotel does not serve real ale (yet) but is included so as to include all the licensed premises in the Highlands & Western Isles Branch Area. The family-run Cnoc Hotel was converted in 1970 from four estate cottages, one of which used to be the Factor's Office for the Erchless Estate, ancestral seat of the Clan Chisholm. Situated within the Glens of Affric, Cannich and Strathfarrar, in an ideal location for walkers, fishers, golfers, cyclists, bird watchers (osprey, golden eagle and red kite can all be seen locally), and those simply wanting a relaxing country break. Locally sourced organic, fresh food is served all day every day either in the Chisholm Bar or the award-winning Struy Restaurant. Game, venison, seafood and shellfish are always on the menu.
