A large Victorian pub situated at a crossroads on the B5288 between Penrith and Greystoke. Currently 2 handpumps typically serving Wainwright Amber and Coniston Bluebird Bitter. Fully refurbished in 2016 then spruced up in 2025 and reopened after a year of closure with Tapas the speciality. As is typical with country pubs, most of the floorspace is taken up by dining, but there is provision for drinkers to one side of the bar.
