Pub with 4 rooms *** Highlands & Western Isles pub opening and food service times currently vary nearly on a day-to-day basis, mostly dependent on establishments' access to bar and waiting staff. Hence you will almost certainly see different times than those published here. Please DO NOT send updates to either opening or food service times, as trying to hit a moving target is a waste of our very limited resources. Instead, overall opening and restaurant times will be updated at the next full survey. Your understanding is appreciated. The Chlachain Inn (meaning "stone house" in Gàidhlig) was built around 1900. The premises were extensively refurbished in 2004 and again in 2013.

The single bar is open plan with different areas to satisfy all. Cosy chairs by the open fire, booth seating and tables and chairs - you can also sit at the bar, or prop it up!

An excellent selection of freshly prepared food is available every day; outside a sign reads 'We welcome children, well behaved dogs, muddy boots and backpacks'.

There is plenty to do locally. Leave the car and take the steam train! Quiz night Thursday.
