Lovely old Kentish pub situated in the picturesque village of Lamberhurst just off the A21. It has been a pub since 1414 but dates back to 1137 when it was a manor house. Plenty of seating is provided at traditional pub tables and chairs, comfy sofas and armchairs spread across a variety of rooms, with flagstone flooring and low wooden beams in the main bar. There is a good selection of homemade meals, some using Harvey's beers or Hawkstone cider as ingredients, along with specials. Monthly 'Global Grazing' smaller plates evenings are advertised eg French, Thai, Spanish, themed food. A quiet garden terrace and riverside garden are to be found at the rear of the pub. An additional seasonal Harvey's guest beer is available along with an interesting range of mainly local craft keg beers.
This Pub serves 1 changing beer and 1 regular beer.
