Large bar with even larger lounge. Pool and darts. Geared for summer holiday trade. Food led with up to two Cask Ales on offer. The pub has undergone refurbishment October 2025.

Historic Interest

The only public house in the village to link its name to the original Roman settlement. Pub opened in 1963.
