Ever popular, single bar, side street pub with large extension leading to the garden; there is a heated marquee in winter and at some other times. A collection of breweriana, historic Cambridge Beer Festival posters and pump clips provide the decoration. Up to 12 changing beers sourced from micro breweries nationally served by hand pump or gravity from the tap room. Regular beers, Manhattan Project and Blonde Session Ale from Nene Valley are gluten free. There are several taps for interesting keg beers. Up to ten ciders and perries some of which are real, others include nationally available sweetened ones. Large fridges hold an impressive selection of international bottled beers. Its main beer festival is held in summer.

The kitchen is run by Wonky Kitchens offering a menu ranging from bar snacks and sharing board to main courses all made in house from locally sourced produce.

Small step at the front entrance. Narrow door, but the double doors can be opened on request. Step free to the bar, but there is a deep step to the rear bar area. A portable ramp is available to access the rear bar area, and the accessible toilet.
