This Pub is Closed Long Term

Pub closed 23 Dec 2013 due to bankruptcy. Pleasant two-bar pub on the main A390, serving both local and passing trade. There are two bars, the no-smoking lounge having the real fire and absence of noisy machines, although it serves also as a dining area. The stone-flagged public bar is also the games room, hosting the dartboard, pool table and euchre team. The pleasant outdoor seating area is decorated with various agricultural artefacts. Food times 1200-1400 and 1900-2100; there is a Sunday carvery. The campsite is at the pub, while accommodation is in a 5-berth caravan.
