Complementary to the traditional Bulls Head hanging pub sign, an impressive masonry bull's head adorns the pub's front outside wall. A memento of former owners exists in the ironwork above the hanging pub sign which incorporates the Ansell’s squirrel. The open-plan front bar is quite darkly decorated and has a traditional character. The skittles long alley is also utilised for playing table skittles, playing darts, viewing sports TV and for functions. The imbiber is predominantly the target clientele here.
