The name commemorates the alliance of the Hastings and Abney families and reflects the heraldic symbols of both. It is reputed to be the only pub with this name in the UK, and possibly the World.
Breakfasts are served from 9 o'clock. Alcohol refreshment is not available until after 11.00. Sunday has traditional Sunday lunches and a kids menu.
