Originally the Saracens Head, the name Lamb was transferred from another pub when it was demolished in 1856.

Lively town centre pub with disco at weekends (Friday and Saturday). Quiz - Tuesday and Karaoke - Thursday.

There have been reports that real ale is available: Hobgoblin and Rocking Rudolf were available before Christmas 2024.
