Large, pub, popular with both students and locals, served by a single bar usually offering up to two out of three regular real ales at a time. Food is served daily from a comprehensive menu, with daily specials. There is an emphasis on sports and several sports TV screens are positioned around the bar area, although there are a few quieter spots. There is a quiz on Thursdays, with live music on weekends.
