This riverside pub is located in the old part of Bingley next to a 13th century bridge and has been serving as a hostelry for over 100 years. A warm welcome awaits all. Following inundation by the Boxing Day 2015 floods, it was restored to its former glory and re-opened in April 2016, with the flood level being marked by plaques on the walls. The pub is especially popular with diners and it is advisable to book ahead for meals especially at weekends. For those who just want a drink, armchairs and bar-stools are present closer to the bar. The beer garden to the rear was refurbished and extended in 2023. An extensive range of Timothy Taylor beers is offered. A small range of international bottled beers are also stocked. Live music is played, usually on Saturdays (closing time 12.00am). There is a quiz night on Tuesdays and a Friday steak night. The pub is close to the St Ives estate and promotes walking and cycling in the area. An upstairs function room is available for hire.
