This is a club, which means that the bar may be only open to members.
Admission is available to club members, member’s guests and ACC (Association of Conservative Clubs) affiliated members. The club was founded in 1977 in a converted 19th century farm-house. The ground floor comprises of: a bar with a cottagey ambience enhanced by its exposed ceiling beams and joist plus a red brick arched fireplace set in what was once clearly an inglenook fireplace, a concert/function room, the Tom Ratcliffe Lounge named after the former farmer and the Jim Buxton’s Room which is a skittles table room named after a former skittles playing club member. On the first floor are: a snooker room, a pool room and the Conservative constituency MP’s office. Good value filled cobs are available at lunchtimes.
