Clubhouse trades as a pub
The Golf Club was established in 1895, though the existing clubhouse was built in 1974. The clubhouse is a popular venue for golfers after a game, although playing golf isn’t a prerequisite to been a patron these days, as it is now welcoming to one and all, and essentially trades as a pub. Inside consists of a public bar with a full size snooker table, and a lounge which doubles as a function room, off of which is a smaller function room known as the Centenary Room. Also off the lounge is a conservatory overlooking a furnished paved patio and views across the golf course. The Golf Club itself has friendly games, weekly competition matches for all levels of ability, a covered and lit 8-bay driving range and a short game practice green and bunker. A good social calendar includes events such as dinner dances, tribute nights, sporting-themed dinners and quizzes.
This Pub serves 2 changing beers (From Coors guest list) and 0 regular beers.
