This Pub is Closed Long Term

This is a friendly single-roomed former coaching inn. The bar room, whilst somewhat modernised, still has a beamed ceiling held up by wood-clad supports, and a wood-fronted bar sporting 5 handpumps - not all normally in use - offering a varied selection but generally featuring local brews from Cornish micros. A somewhat mixed décor consists of intriguing masonic symbols, photos of old Cornish scenes, posters, mirrors, and other bric-à-brac. Food is very reasonably priced with fresh local fish a speciality - you can even buy fresh fish to take home for cooking and the pub has its own lobster tank! Meal times 12:00-14:30 & 18:00-21:00. The pub is known as 'middle house' by the locals.
