Busy modern pub/restaurant dating from mid 1970s. Now presented under the Barrel & Stone theme, food is mainly steaks, burgers and pizzas with a carvery available on Sundays. Located near a large Sainsburys supermarket, a good 'suburban community' pub. Open plan layout can cater for 80 diners, plus extra seating outside. Refurbished and renamed in December 2017 when separate lounge was removed.
