A large family-friendly pub dating back to 1935 on the road between Long Eaton and Sandiacre. Inside there is a separate sports bar (no under 18's) and a lounge whilst outside there is a huge beer garden and plenty of car-parking. The pub serves a wide range of food including snacks, steaks and burgers. There is regular entertainment and a weekly general knowledge quiz. Sky Q Tv means they can show several different sporting events at the same time. Three handpumps supply beers. It is hoped that the range will increase. The pub benefited from a £317k six week refurbishment reopening June 2025. As of August 2025 they were running a buy five get one free card stamp promotion on cask beers.
