This Pub is Permanently Closed
The Bridge Inn was an architecturally pleasing (Grade 2 listed) local hostelry that traded from 1906 to 1995. For much of its existence it had been part of the Fremlins tied estate. Sadly the pub owning company decided that the local population no longer needed this facility and it was converted to rental accommodation following its closure. Some 10 years later it went on fire and the site is now occupied by a hideous housing block.
