Imposing pub adjacent to the Shropshire Union Canal making it an easy pleasant walk / cycle from the city centre. Turbulent recent history of changing landlords and periods of closure but re-opened in November 2023 after smart refurbishment and run by a couple determined to make a success of the place. Cask removed though.
