Dating back to the early 19th century and located just yards from the English border this local pub formally doubled up as a Chinese restaurant. Named after Breidden hill, a extinct volcanic hill, which rises above the village. Now a free house, the Breidden reopened after a smart refurbishment in December 2023. Two real ales are sold with a guest ale planned for the future. The English border is only a short distance away.
