This imposing Country Pub has recently reopened after a major refurbishment.The front door leads into the central bar area with beamed ceiling and timber-panelled walls. Off to the left is a large lounge area, while through a doorway to the right is the restaurant, which is still undergoing refurbishment.
Cobs are made to order, and as well as the cask ales there is an extensive range of wines.
Historic Interest
Dating from 1717 and formerly called the New Inn, first licensed in the 1820's. It was acquired by Wolverhampton & Dudley Breweries in 1921 who later became Marston's who sold it in 2019 to Admiral Taverns. In 2025 it was bought privately and extensively refurbished.
This Pub serves no changing beers and 4 regular beers.
