Located on National Trust's Cockmarsh between Cookham village and Bourne End, this quirky, characterful pub is only accessible on foot or by boat. Dogs, walkers and children are made very welcome. The boat-shaped bar is packed with nautical knick-knacks and daft jokes. Bar billiards can be played while listening to the 60s music. Food until 8pm. Live events throughout the Summer, including Mikron theatre. Summer weekends can be very busy. Note the reduced Winter opening hours, noon - dusk weekends only from 1st October to 31st March. Mon 1st April, Open again all day every day all summer.
