Definitely a restaurant with a small drinking area off to the side of the main bar. Excellent food choice and quality in pleasant environment. main bar has three hand pumps and a wide choice of bottled and draught lagers and ciders. Drinking area was cosy and well furnished with no pressure to order food. Subtle background music helped conversation rather than intruded.
