This Pub is Closed Long Term

Up until the mid-70s this establishment was a boatman's cottage with boats for hire on the nearby river Avon. Reverted from it's last name 'Afon' in 2006, the venue was run as a bar and brasserie under Greene King until it closed in 2019. The lease was bought by Nathalie Harris and parents in law Steve and Maria Harris in July 2022 and a huge refurbishment stered very soon after. The venue opened on 1 September with a very strong emphasis on local produce hence Stonehenge Ales on the bar; the brewery's first permanent outlet in Salisbury.
