This Pub is Closed Long Term

On the A65 in the heart of the village, the Boar's Head reopened under new mnagement in August 2023 after an 18-month closure. The reopening has been low key. Food and accommodation (and a wider beer range) should become available as trade picks up. The large 'L' shaped interior has comfortable seating for drinking and dining around the bar and a games area with a pool table in the former restaurant area. The Boars Head is within driving distance of Settle, Clitheroe and Skipton for those wishing to visit a typical Pennine/Dales Market Town, and is perfectly positioned between the Yorkshire Dales National Park, the Forest of Bowland and the Southern Lakes. There are plenty of countryside activities to do and interesting places to visit in all weathers. May close Monday and Tuesday if quiet.
