NOV 2024 - Bar has reopened with real ale and new owners following a major refurbishment of the listed (Category C(S)) building. Now describes itself as a local pub with rooms, burgers, beer, steak and artisan pizzeria (next door). Many details shown are likely to have changed.

WAS: This characterful, family-run, 200-year-old hotel is well worth seeking out. The cosy and welcoming bar is popular with locals while the lounge is well suited to families. The restaurant specialises in fresh local produce, with an intimate, relaxed, candlelit atmosphere. The secluded beer garden with a gazebo and patio can be enjoyed during the summer. The bedrooms are named after local historical figures.
