This Pub is Permanently Closed

The Black Boy opened in around 1707 and ceased trading in 1966. Sadly the building was demolished the same year. The photo's show that The Black Boy was probably a Dartford Brewery, then Style & Winch tied house and therefore would have ended its days as part of the Courage empire that was so dominant in the Dartford area at the time.

The site is now occupied by a charity shop.
