Food & bunkhouse accommodation.
Traditional 200-year-old stone-built barn at the start of the Ben Nevis mountain path, popular with outdoor enthusiasts. The small bar counter has two hand pumps offering local beers. The interior is warm, informal and friendly, with long, beer hall-style tables and a beckoning stove, and is festooned with mountaineering and skiing paraphernalia. A menu of hearty dishes is available until 9pm, with daily specials. There is regular live music. The adjacent bunkhouse sleeps 24 and a stylish extension is currently under construction. Closed in November and Monday to Wednesday from December to February.
