Historic Interest

Delicensed 14/07/11 Landlady was Zoe Eckersley and owner Enterprise Inns. In May 1981 this was the only John Smiths pub in Bolton and like all their pubs at the time only sold Keg beer. In July 1987 it was confirmed that the pub was still keg only and it was not listed in the 1989 Beer in Bolton Guide, but by January 1991 the John Smiths Bitter was now cask, how long this lasted is not known, but probably not very long.
