Essentially a country village pub. Large comfortable bar with log burner, ample seating and a mix of pamment tiled and wooden floor bar area. Overlooks a sunny paved patio seating area at the front, and has a large grassed beer garden to the rear.

A good selection of table top traditional pub games, including shove halfpenny, and a small library of books to browse at your leisure.

Large function and restaurant room, bookable for exclusive use for private parties when not operating as a restaurant, opening onto large grassed beer garden. Piano in the bar too.

Food currently provided by occasional pop up food vendors or you can order in a takeaway of your choice for delivery and consumption on the premises, with crockery and cutlery provided. Sunday lunches are available and booking is advisable. Bar food usually available Friday 5-8:30pm and Saturday 5-8:30pm but best to phone and check on food availability as it can and does vary.

Live music events throughout the year and unobtrusive piped music played.

Children welcome with a small play area in the rear garden … connect four and a robust log style climbing frame.
